London to Verona aboard the VSOE & Rossini’s The Barber of Seville

Day 1

2nd August 2018

Depart London Victoria at 10:45 Board the Belmond British Pullman train train at London Victoria station, your steward will show you to your reserved seat. Sit back and enjoy Brunch served with a Bellini as you travel through the Kentish countryside. After crossing the Channel board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train. Enjoy a delicious four-course dinner, prepared by our skilled French chefs. After dinner retire to your cabin, which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.

Day 2

3rd August 2018

You awake to the magnificent scenery of the Swiss Alps as breakfast is served in your cabin at a time to suit you. Spend the morning relaxing in your cabin or in the Bar Car chatting to fellow guests. Enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch which is served in another one of the beautiful restaurant cars. While away the afternoon admiring the passing scenery as the train travels through the Italian Dolomites. Later, afternoon tea is served in your cabin. All too soon it is time to prepare to disembark. Arrive Verona Porta Nuova at 16:03 Private Car Transfer to Hotel Check In to Hotel Due Torri – perfectly located in the heart of Verona and very close to Juliet’s balcony and the Arena di Verona.

Day3

4th August 2018

After a day spent at leisure in Verona its time to make your way to the Arena di Verona, a huge 1st century Roman amphitheatre which will transform for the performance into the grand garden by Hugo de Ana characterised by giant evocative roses. Performance begins at 20:45

Day 4

5th August 2018

Spending a 2nd day in this medieval city & enjoy a day of leisure exploring the historic city of Verona. Perhaps add a city tour.

Day 5

6th August 2018

After 3 wonderful nights in Verona, its time to check out of the Hotel. Private car transfer to Airport Economy flights with BA depart Verona at 12:00 arriving London Gatwick at 13:05 Note Other Air arrangements are possible – contact us for more information. Dear Lee and all the Mulberry Travel Team, We just wanted to thank you for organising such a wonderful trip to the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The Hotel Mayfair was absolutely perfect for us, comfortable, elegant, and ideally located. The drivers throughout the weekend and for our airport transfers were excellent, especially Riswan, who drove us to and from the races. He was not only professional but also a wonderful guide, sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of Paris and France, which really added to the experience. Attending the Arc itself was something we had wanted to do for many years, and we’re so glad to have finally experienced it. Thank you again to you and your team for arranging everything so beautifully. You took all the stress out of the trip for us and we are very grateful. It truly was a memorable weekend. Sasha and her colleagues did a fantastic job helping organising our honeymoon, arranging everything; sorting the flights and transfers and picking the hotels for the two centre trip to Verona and Lake Garda that we wanted. Everything went smoothly from the flights, the transfers from Verona airport to the hotel in Verona, between Verona and Sirmione and the return to the airport, the hotels and the Opera (which was a highlight).

We have just returned from seeing Andrea Bocelli in Italy. The whole trip was organised by Mulberry Travel. I cant recommend them highly enough. They organised everything from flights to transfers to accommodation and also tickets for the concert. Everything ran seamlessly. The Hotel L'Orologia in Florence was one if their recommendations. It was beautiful and centrally situated on a lovely piazza. Transfers to and from the airport and the concert ran like clockwork. I will certainly be booking with Mulberry Travel again for any trips. After spending two days in Vienna my son and myself boarded the famous Orient Express train back to Paris and then onto London with Eurostar premium.
