Day 1
Fly from London Heathrow (regional available) to Pisa and a private driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Tuscany. Check in to Castello Di Casole where your Italian Dream begins. A vast selection of experience are available at the hotel, from cooking classes to truffle hunting,enjoy all the hotel and surrounding area has to offer*. This evening, dine at the hotel and get a true taste of Siena*. *Dining and Experiences not part of the package – available to book via hotel.Day 2
Enjoy your day and evening at leisure. Perhaps take some time to relax in the hotel spa or take a hike/bike ride.Day 3
Enjoy morning at leisure. Today, you’ll be collected by your driver who will transfer you from Castello Di Casole to Florence station, where the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express awaits. After boarding and settling into your comfortable cabin, stroll through the carriages taking in every detail. Proceed to one of the elegant dining cars and sit down to a lavish four-course dinner, prepared on board by our expert team of chefs. Later, you may wish to linger in Bar Car ‘3674’, listening to the resident pianist play the baby grand and chatting to fellow passengers before you retire for the night. When you are ready, retire to your cabin, which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.Day 4
This morning there’s no need to rush. Instead, pause and reflect on your adventure over a leisurely continental breakfast in your cabin. As the train pulls into Paris Gare de l’Est Station, prepare to head home, head full of extraordinary memories. A transfer is included from Paris Gare De L’Est to Paris Gare Du Nord, where you will catch an afternoon Eurostar to London St Pancras.

Tuscany is Home to the rarest and finest truffles on earth.
Castello Di Casole vast estate is a treasure trove of truffles. Join a professional truffle hunter to seek out the precious tubers, which are particularly abundant in September and October but available all year round. You’ll be met at the hotel and escorted through the countryside to hunt for the delicacies, aided by a highly trained Lagotto Romagnolo dog. Afterwards you can feast on a delicious fixed menu based on your finds with the option of pairing the dish with a great wine.*
