ITINERARY
Day 1 ::- Board the barge at Dole and meet your crew for a champagne reception.
- In the evening enjoy your first dinner on board, with decadent local cuisine and fine wines. Day 2::
- Join the River Saône on your leisurely morning cruise.
- Visit Clos de Vougeot, a medieval château and headquarters of the Chevaliers du Tastevin society.
- You’ll be treated to a private wine tasting at a reputed local producer before rejoining the barge. Day 3::
- After breakfast, take a walking tour of historic Dijon. Visit the market, the Ducal Palace and the famous Grey Poupon mustard shop.
- Return to the barge for lunch as you continue along the majestic river to Verdun sur le Doubs.
- This evening, dine at a charming local Michelin-rated restaurant. Day 4::
- Continue along the final stretch of the Saône before mooring in the pretty village of Fragnes.
- After lunch join a tour of Beaune, wine capital of Burgundy. Tour the magnificent 15th-century Hôtel-Dieu a charity hospital that reveals the region’s history.

- Relax and watch the world float by as your cruise along the beautiful Canal du Centre.
- After lunch, the estate’s owner takes you on a tour of Château de Germolles, the last remaining residence of the Dukes of Burgundy.
- Moor in Chagny for a dinner at a local Michelin-rated restaurant. Day 6::
- A leisurely cruise takes you to St Léger, your final destination.
- After lunch tour Château de Chamirey, a family-run wine estate, complete with a tasting session.
- Take a scenic drive back to the barge in time for cocktails and a farewell gala dinner. Day 7::
- After breakfast, bid adieu to the crew and disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
TANLAY TO VENAREY-LES-LAUMES
Departing: March – October Duration: 7 days/6 nights
Day 1 ::- Board the barge in Tanlay, meeting your crew over a champagne reception.
- In the evening enjoy your first dinner on board, with fine wines and decadent local cuisine. Day 2 ::
- After breakfast cruise along the Burgundy Canal to the village of Lezinnes.
- Later in the morning, take a scenic drive to the world-renowned vineyards of Chablis for lunch in a traditional restaurant.
- Complete the excursion with a tasting at a local winery, boasting Premier and Grand Crus vintages. Day 3 ::
- Start the day with a serene cruise to the delightful village of Ancy-le-Franc.
- Indulge in an onboard lunch before visiting the stunning 16th-century Chateau d’Ancy-le-Franc on a private tour. Day 4 ::
- This morning let your guide take you on a walking tour of Noyers-sur-Serein on market day, a medieval village considered one of the most beautiful in France.

- Explore the market of Montbard, sampling local specialities, before cruising to your final destination of Venarey-les-Laumes.
