• Once you have settled in to your room, take the opportunity to explore Singapore or simply relax and enjoy the hotel facilities.

• Explore and discover the delights of Singapore. Singapore has a pleasant, tropical climate year round, varying from an average of 28 – 32 degrees Celsius during the day to 23 – 27 degrees Celsius in the evenings. It is not unusual to have intermittent showers on a sunny day but the showers rarely last long and they provide a cool respite.
• Why not enjoy a half-day guided “Cultural” Tour of Singapore and dip into the long rich history of Singapore. Afterwards, retire back to the comfort of your hotel

• You will be met at your hotel and escorted to Singapore Woodlands Station where you climb aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express.
• Depart from Singapore and settle into your private Pullman cabin as the train rolls through the southern Malaysian countryside.
• Dinner is served in one of the luxurious dining cars. Afterwards, head to the Bar Car to relax with fellow travellers or retire to your cosy converted cabin.

• After breakfast arrive at Kuala Kangsar. Travel by coach to Labu Kabong to discover rural Malaysian life with a warm welcome ceremony from the villagers. Take a guided tour through lush rice paddies ending with refreshments and a chance to sample local produce.
• Rejoin the train for a refreshing cocktail accompanied by live piano music before a glamorous final dinner on board.

• This morning alight at Kanchanaburi for your choice of tour. The Classic includes guided visits to the River Kwai Bridge and Thai-Burma Railway Museum. Tracks to Unseen Thailand tour will have you biking through rice paddies, stopping off at a local farm. The Local Flavours tour explores the wet market, a rice noodle house and combines a raft cruise with a cooking class.
• Return to the train for lunch, before ending your journey in Bangkok in the late afternoon.
• Disembark for your transfer to the luxury 5 Star Shangri-La Hotel.
• Once you have settled in to your room, simply relax in the luxurious surrounds of the hotel or head out into the city and take in the sights.

• After breakfast, your transfer will take you to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Koh Samui.
