Travel on the Belmond Royal Scotsman Luxury Train to and from Edinburgh. Depart from Edinburgh Waverley in the afternoon hours on day one and return early morning on day eight. Day Two aboard the Royal Scotsman
- Enjoy breakfast on board as the train continues west along the Moray Firth towards Inverness, capital of the Highlands.
- Lunch is served on the way to Kyle of Lochalsh.
- In the village of Plockton, take a boat trip to see the colony of seals and set off on a woodland walk to Plockton Hotel.
- Return to the train for dinner and spend the night at Kyle of Lochalsh.
Day Three aboard the Royal Scotsman

- Depart from Kyle of Lochalsh as breakfast is served.

- Visit Ballindalloch, one of Scotland’s most romantic castles.
- Return to train at Boat of Garten and prepare for an informal dinner.
- Following dinner, head to the observation car where musicians are waiting to entertain you.
Day Four aboard the Royal Scotsman

- Transfer to Rothiemurchus Estate and choose from activities including fishing, clay pigeon-shooting or an estate tour, followed by refreshments in the hunting lodge.

- At Dunkeld, disembark for a private tour of Glamis Castle and gardens.
- Re-join train in Perth and prepare for a formal dinner en route to Dundee.
- Following dinner, partake in some lively Scottish country dancing.
Day Five aboard the Royal Scotsman
