  • Board the Orient Express La Dolce Vita at Palermo Central Station
  • Enjoy lunch in the Dining Car and savor the finest flavors of Italian gastronomy.
  • Head for Messina and spend time in your cabin with tea as the ferry crossing takes place
  • Arrive in Villa San Giovanni Pull and prepare for the royal dinner aka Le Grand Soir evening banquet in the Dining Car

Day Two aboard Orient Express La Dolce Vita

  • The train arrives at Villa San Giovanni and transfers by ferry to Messina
  • Enjoy breakfast in your cabin.
  • Arrive in Maratea and discover the “City of 44 churches”, overlooking the sea, followed by a magical stop in front one of the largest statues of Christ in the world – Cristo Redentore (Christ the Redeemer), and a cocktail at the Santa Venere Hotel.The magic continues with a ride on a “gozzo”, the local boat, to explore the caves and secrets of the Maratea coast or a session at the hotel’s pool and private beach
