Seven Seas Explorer is spaciously intimate, breathlessly elegant and perfectly staffed to offer Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ special brand of all-inclusive luxury. The summer of 2016 will herald not only the launch of the most luxurious ship to sail the seven seas, but also the moment when you can experience the new standard in elegance and sophistication. Journey to the world’s most beautiful places in spacious designer suites, indulge in a decadent treatment at the world renowned Canyon Ranch SpaClub, enjoy a musical performance in a plush lounge, and delight in extensive gourmet dining throughout the day and night.

Dine whenever, wherever and with whomever you choose in any of our open-seating restaurants. Simply request a table when the mood strikes and the Maître D’ will happily seat your party.

Using fresh local produce, dry-aged prime meats, fish and seafood sourced from international markets, delicious artisan cheeses and scrumptious baked goods crafted from the finest imported French flour, combined with all the skills and imagination of our celebrated chefs to put it all together — cruising has never tasted so good. Menus change daily in Compass Rose as a multitude of Continental-inspired dishes are offered during the course of your voyage. Indulge in a Sunday champagne and caviar brunch at La Veranda or at Compass Rose. Dine in elegant surroundings including the iconic Prime 7, the premier steakhouse at sea, and delight in mouth watering entrées paired with distinctive complimentary wines and spirits.

EXP-CompassRose-231x153Much thought was given to the design of Compass Rose, the flagship restaurant of our fleet. The dining room is outfitted with rich woods contrasted by light marble stones and mother of pearl shimmering brightly with an elegant color theme of light shades of blue, white, gold and silver. Compass Rose delights with a beautifully defined atmosphere and transitions from refreshing natural light during the day to a romantic ice blue lighting theme at night. This is the perfect setting for you to enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner, where the menu features an exceptional variety of Continental cuisine.

Serving breakfast and lunch, La Veranda is exceedingly popular any time of the day. Spacious and comfortably casual, La Veranda offers regional specialties that often reflect the cuisines of the countries called on, such as Grilled Lamb Chops with Spanish Sherry Sauce or pan-sautéed Mediterranean Sea Bass. Dishes are presented in a buffet style that displays the diversity of the menu. La Veranda also features an authentic pizzeria and a shaded, open-air veranda for dining al fresco.

EXP-LaVeranda-SetteMari-231x153Inspired by the views of the Italian Riviera, the ambiance is one of everyday glamour. Rich blues and whites, contrasted with terrazzo floors and teak wood accents, adorn the interior spaces and culminate in a stylish and spacious al fresco area, replete with comfortable cushioned seating and striped awnings that allow the breeze to flow through. In the evenings, La Veranda transforms into the warm and inviting Sette Mari at La Veranda, where tables are candlelit to match the star-filled skies. The menu also transforms into a tantalizing journey of alluring antipasto, perfect homemade pastas, enticing main courses and divine desserts hailing from all over Italy. Sette Mari at La Veranda is open for dinner only.

Voyager Pool GrillBeing open-air and just steps from the swimming pool on Deck 11, the Pool Grill welcomes casual diners. Its laid-back ambiance invites guests to come directly from lounging in the sun, or for a quick meal between shore excursions. While the atmosphere is deliciously informal, the menu and preparation reflects the same attention to detail as the finest of restaurants.

EXP-Prime7-231x153A true classic in every sense, the Prime 7 restaurant aboard Seven Seas Explorer personifies luxury at every turn. Handsomely decorated with ingenious uses of glass, metal and granite, you will feel as if you have arrived at an iconic members-only club. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar before being taken to your personal banquette. And after savoring a succulent filet mignon or a mouthwatering côte de boeuf, delight in a digestif and a lively conversation with fellow guests in the comfort of supple leather wing-back chairs.

All the traditional starters are here, including Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Oysters Rockefeller, and French Onion Soup Gratinée. Of course, beef is the undisputed star, as it is all USD A Prime and Dry-Aged at least 28 days to ensure the ultimate tenderness, juiciness and flavour. “Côte de Boeuf” Bone-in Rib Steak, Porterhouse Steak and succulent Filet Mignon only touch upon the selections. Mouth watering alternatives include Colorado Double-Cut Lamb Chops and Oven-Roasted Organic Free-Range Chicken. Prime 7 is open for dinner only and reservations are required.

With its narrow, winding streets and shuttered, pastel-hued buildings, quaint Gassin boasts a definitive Provençal character. Moderate Activity/Walking
Duration: 2 1/2 hours

Meet your guide on the pier for an enjoyable walking tour of Saint-Tropez. With the foothills of the Maures Massif rising behind it, Saint-Tropez Bay is one of the most picturesque sites of the South of France, and is notoriously well-known as the international jet-set rendezvous.

Aix En Provence:

Light Activity /Walking
Duration: 4 1/2 hours

“Travel to the charming and historic town of Aix en Provence on this captivating half-day tour.

Boarding your coach at the pier, you will embark on a picturesque 1 hour drive through the scenic Provence countryside as you travel towards Aix en Provence, an elegant and well-preserved town that is filled with history and character.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided walking tour that has you strolling through narrow lanes paved with cobblestone in the Vieux Aix as you make your way to the celebrated Cours Mirabeau. Another of the town’s highlights you will see is the Cathedral Saint Sauveur, with its remarkable carved pillars and slender colonnades. The Cathedral was built over the course of several centuries, dating back as early as the 5th century and on through the 15th century. It is perhaps best-known for its interesting combination of architectural styles and the remarkable art masterpieces housed inside. The Cathedral initially served as a pre-Roman pagan temple before becoming a Roman temple, and then finally, the Christian church that stands today.

Santa Catarina Wine Cellar

Light Activity /Walking
Duration: 4 hours

Geared toward wine lovers, this tour gives you the opportunity to sample some of Palma’s finest wines and then explore the enclave of Puerto de Andratx.

Boarding your coach at the pier, you’ll commence a scenic seventy-five minute drive to one of the most beautiful valleys on the island of Mallorca. En route, you will pass the spectacular bay of Camp de Mar and then head to Capdellá where the Bodegas Santa Catarina is located. The most striking part of this Bodega is the fantastic sandstone cave where their quality wine matures in oak barrels. The Bodega grows French grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay and produces approximately a half million bottles per year.

The soft Mediterranean breeze creates a unique microclimate in the Tramuntana Mountains that has an effect on the French grape varieties and explains the high quality of the Mallorcan wines. After the Bodega visit, you’ll have the chance to see the different procedures used during the winemaking, followed by a wine tasting and typical Mallorcan snack.

Before returning to Palma, you’ll have some free time to stroll about Puerto de Andratx. Just a few years ago, this quaint town was mainly just the home of local Mallorcans. That has changed in recent years after an influx of foreign investment and a facelift made served to make it an increasingly popular holiday destination and several celebrities are known to visit here during the summer months.

Your route back to the pier includes a panoramic drive through Palma to view the capital’s main monuments.

Please note: This tour includes approximately 1-hour of moderate walking/standing plus any additional walking during the free time in Andratx. Taste of the Past:

Light Activity /Walking
Duration: 4 hours

This tour delves into Mallorca’s intriguing history, beginning in an area of the island called Pla de Sant Jordi, or Saint Jordi’s Plain, where windmills still dot the landscape. Here, Mallorca’s rich agricultural customs live on at Els Calderers, an 18th century manor house, which the owners have graciously opened to the public in an effort to share the traditions of Mallorca.

Stroll at your leisure through the impressive Great Hall, Hunting Room, kitchen, and into the wine cellar, where you may sample some locally produced vintages. “Mi casa es su casa” has never rung so true.

Your next stop is Bellver Castle, which was constructed in the early 1300s, during the reign of Jaime I of Mallorca. It is the only circular Gothic castle in Europe with a double gallery of arches inside the central patio. The castle also affords some marvelous views of Palma.

Seated Tour Minimal Activity Required
Duration: 3 1/2 hours

Discover the many facets of Ibiza by visiting several distinct villages on the island, each with its own personality and irresistible allure.

Depart from the pier and settle for a scenic drive around Ibiza, a striking island of pine forests and World Heritage sites. Ibiza is so diverse that it’s difficult to categorize, making this excursion all the more attractive because its presents so many different sides of Ibiza.

It begins in the atmospheric Old Town, known as the Dalt Vila, a walled area of narrow streets, fashionable boutiques and architectural gems such as Almudaina Castle.
