Uniworld Venice & the Jewels of Veneto Itinerary
Day 1 – Venice
Arrive in Venice and embark S.S. La Venezia. Unpack, relax and enjoy your first evening on the Venetian Lagoon.
Day 2 – Venice
Begin your exploration of Venice with included experiences that may feature Doge’s Palace and a walk through authentic Venetian neighbourhoods. In the evening, selected departures may include a memorable after-hours visit to St Mark’s Basilica, away from the daytime crowds.
Day 3 – Venice, Padua or Vicenza, Mazzorbo and Burano
Start the day with a choice of carefully curated excursions in the Veneto region, such as Padua or Vicenza. Later, reboard the ship for scenic sailing across the lagoon towards Mazzorbo and Burano.
In the evening, enjoy time on Burano after many day visitors have left, with its brightly coloured fishermen’s cottages and long tradition of lace-making.
Day 4 – Mazzorbo, Burano and Chioggia
Spend the day exploring the northern lagoon, with possible highlights including Torcello, Mazzorbo, Burano or a Murano glassblowing experience. Later, continue towards Chioggia, one of the lagoon’s most authentic fishing towns.
Day 5 – Chioggia
Discover Chioggia, often described as a miniature Venice, with its lively market, canals and maritime traditions. Excursion options may include local tastings, cycling, a market visit or cultural experiences in and around the town.
Day 6 – Chioggia and Venice
This morning, explore the Po Delta or enjoy one of the region’s carefully selected experiences before sailing back towards Venice during lunch.
Day 7 – Venice
Return to Venice for a final day of exploration. Experiences may include the Rialto area, Dorsoduro, artisan workshops, Venetian food traditions or local rowing culture.
Day 8 – Venice
