Arrive in Venice in unforgettable style
This itinerary is designed around one of Europe’s most romantic travel experiences: arriving in Venice aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Depart Paris in the afternoon and travel overnight through Europe in beautifully restored Art Deco carriages before reaching Venice the following day.
From Venice, continue your journey aboard Uniworld’s S.S. La Venezia, a floating boutique hotel that allows you to explore the city and its surrounding lagoon in a slower, more immersive way. Rather than simply visiting Venice, you live with the rhythm of the lagoon.
Mulberry Travel can tailor this package around selected VSOE and Uniworld departure combinations, adding flights, Paris hotel stays, Venice hotel nights, private transfers or onward arrangements as required.

In the evening, enjoy Burano after many day visitors have left, when its colourful houses and quiet canals feel especially atmospheric.
Day 6 – Mazzorbo, Burano and Chioggia
Explore the northern lagoon, with possible experiences including Torcello, Mazzorbo, Burano or Murano glassblowing.
Later, continue towards Chioggia, a charming fishing town often described as a smaller, more local version of Venice.

Day 8 – Chioggia and Venice
Explore the Po Delta or enjoy one of the region’s included experiences before sailing back towards Venice.
Day 9 – Venice
Spend a final full day exploring Venice with Uniworld. Experiences may include the Rialto area, Dorsoduro, artisan workshops, Venetian food traditions or local rowing culture.
