Fly from the UK to Verona
Travel to Verona on flights selected to suit your preferred UK airport. A private transfer takes you to your hotel for three nights. Aida at the Arena di Verona
Enjoy a relaxed day exploring Verona before this evening’s highlight: Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida in the spectacular Roman amphitheatre. The 1913-inspired production is scheduled to begin at 21:15; the performance lasts approximately 3 hours 40 minutes including intervals.

Verona to Paris aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Following breakfast, take a pre-arranged transfer to Verona Porta Nuova station and board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Belmond currently gives an estimated departure around 12:55, subject to railway operations.
Settle into your Historic Cabin, Suite or Grand Suite. Enjoy attentive steward service and fine dining in the restored Art Deco carriages, including lunch and an elegant evening meal, before retiring for the night aboard the train.

Paris and onward Eurostar to London
Wake to breakfast aboard before the train arrives in Paris, currently scheduled at approximately 13:00. A separate transfer can be arranged to Paris Gare du Nord for an onward Eurostar to London St Pancras, subject to suitable connection times and availability.
Because the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Eurostar are separate services, we may recommend an additional night in Paris where this provides a more comfortable connection or suits your plans.
