After indulging in a masterfully prepared dinner by Chef Rogan, retreat to your suite for a peaceful slumber, cradled by the gentle rhythm of this extraordinary journey.
Day Two: Pembrokeshire Coastline & Snowdonia
- As the sun rises over the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, get ready for a day of exploration in Wales’s scenic landscapes. After a leisurely breakfast, disembark at Llandrindod Wells for a guided hike through serene valleys, followed by a quintessential British picnic in blooming lavender fields with a curated hamper of local produce. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, our Guest Experience team can suggest a variety of activities tailored to your interests.
- After your hike, rejoin the train to continue along the picturesque Heart of Wales Line, winding through the rural uplands of Carmarthenshire and Powys. As you head into Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), be captivated by lush valleys, soaring peaks, and cascading waterfalls. The evening promises seasonal British fine dining and enchanting entertainment. Our overnight stop is the charming town of Porthmadog, nestled within the beauty of Snowdonia National Park.
Day Three: Snowdonia to Morton-in-Marsh
- Enjoy a leisurely morning aboard the train, where you can indulge in a wellness ritual or simply enjoy a blissful lie-in, followed by a sumptuous brunch. With a freshly made mimosa in hand, take in the passing scenery from the expansive windows of the Observation Car.
- Our next destination is the vibrant town of Machynlleth, located at the southern edge of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).
