Day One – London Victoria Departure

Step aboard the Britannic Explorer at London Victoria for your luxurious journey north.
Begin with Chef Simon Rogan’s Cumbrian Afternoon Tea, featuring regional favourites such as Kendal mint cake and Grasmere gingerbread.
Relax in the Wellness Suite or enjoy cocktails as the train winds through England’s heartlands.
In the evening, savour a farm-to-fork dinner of seasonal dishes, then unwind in the Observation Car with music and gin before retiring to your suite.

Day Two – Lake District Experiences

As the train departs early, enjoy a scenic journey through the Yorkshire Dales, with views towards Morecambe Bay and across the Arnside Viaduct.
After breakfast in Grange-over-Sands, disembark for a morning at Graythwaite Estate.
Explore the gardens or choose from curated activities such as off-road driving, clay shooting or a Windermere RIB ride.
Later, visit Simon Rogan’s farm for a seasonal lunch before rejoining the train to relax, dine lightly, enjoy entertainment and overnight on the Settle & Carlisle line.

Day Three – Ribblehead Viaduct & Waterside Inn

On arrival in Buckinghamshire, travel to Bray for a farewell dinner at Alain Roux’s three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn.

Day Four – London Victoria & Departure for Wales

After a scenic journey through Oxfordshire and the Chilterns, arrive at London Victoria.
Transfer to The Cadogan, a Belmond hotel, for a three-course lunch with wine or time for independent sightseeing.
Depart London in the afternoon for Wales with a curated afternoon tea of Welsh teacakes and bara brith as golden hour illuminates the countryside.

Day Five – Welsh Valleys & Eryri National Park

The Hotel Mayfair was absolutely perfect for us, comfortable, elegant, and ideally located. The drivers throughout the weekend and for our airport transfers were excellent, especially Riswan, who drove us to and from the races. He was not only professional but also a wonderful guide, sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of Paris and France, which really added to the experience. Attending the Arc itself was something we had wanted to do for many years, and we’re so glad to have finally experienced it. Sasha and her colleagues did a fantastic job helping organising our honeymoon, arranging everything; sorting the flights and transfers and picking the hotels for the two centre trip to Verona and Lake Garda that we wanted. Everything went smoothly from the flights, the transfers from Verona airport to the hotel in Verona, between Verona and Sirmione and the return to the airport, the hotels and the Opera (which was a highlight).
