ROUTES AND TIMINGS

Your travel documentation will be sent to you fve to seven days prior to departure. Please note, routes and timings are subject to the constraints of the rail network and may alter. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to departure

TICKETING AND BOARDING INFORMATION

Your travel documentation including your full itinerary and confirmed timings will be sent to you five to seven days prior to departure. Please arrive 20 minutes before departure time.

WHAT TO WEAR

Smart casual (but not jeans or trainers) is recommended on board. For race meetings, a jacket and tie is often required. Please wear practical clothing for outdoor events.

DINING

The Northern Belle comprises seven dining carriages,each seats 42 guests and contains tables of two and four, with plenty of room for guests to move around and enjoy the train’s sociable atmosphere. Your table, set with a crisp white tablecloth, shining silverware and glittering crystal, sets the scene. Let chefs prepare fine lunches and dinners from the local ingredients from the regions you travel through. Each meal is accompanied by the finest wines and Champagnes, expertly selected by a qualified sommelier. Please note that you may be seated sharing a table. A table for two may be guaranteed by booking the Premier Package, which includes a boxed bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne.

SMOKING

Northern Belle operate a strict no-smoking policy on board their trains.

MOBILE PHONES AND HANDHELD DEVICES

Please turn these off while in your carriage as a consideration to other passengers.

INSURANCE

We recommend you purchase adequate travel insurance for your trip. We cannot be held responsible for loss of deposits and/or other costs incurred if you cancel your reservation.

ONBOARD BOUTIQUE

Onboard there is a boutique which is the ideal place to purchase a memento of your journey on Northern Belle. The boutique offers a rich variety of traditional British crafts.

DISABLED PASSENGERS

We regret that our carriages cannot be boarded in wheelchairs. However, our staff will assist any passengers to their seats and folding wheelchairs can be stored in the vestibules.

SEATING

There are seven passenger carriages, each with the same interior layout of tables for two and four. Please note that you may be seated sharing a table. A table for two may be guaranteed by booking a Premier Package, which includes a boxed bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne.

GRATUITIES

These are entirely at the discretion of the passenger and are not included in your fare. Tips are shared by all members of the on-board crew.
