Orient Express La Dolce Vita is the new generation of luxury train travel in Italy, combining stylish private cabins, refined onboard hospitality and a collection of rail itineraries that explore some of the country’s most iconic regions, cities and coastlines.
Designed by Dimorestudio and inspired by the glamour of 1960s Italian travel, the train offers a distinctive way to experience Italy, from Venice, Tuscany and Piedmont to Matera, Sicily and beyond.
Orient Express La Dolce Vita itineraries range from one night journeys to longer multi-night adventures, including selected one way routes, special event departures and the new Rome to Venice day trip. Most departures are centred around Rome, with routes also operating to and from Venice, Palermo and Istanbul.
On board, guests enjoy private en-suite accommodation, table d’hôte dining, selected beverages and live entertainment. Optional curated off-train experiences may also be available at additional cost, depending on the itinerary.

All Deluxe Cabins are warm and sophisticated in design, with private en-suite bathrooms.
By day, guests can relax on the cabin sofa and enjoy the passing scenery before the space transforms for the night.

18 Suites on board – 11m2 / 118 sq ft in size.
Suites offer more generous space, with the option of twin bed configuration, together with a sofa, table, armchairs and private bathroom.
The suites feature a richly atmospheric design palette inspired by Italian style and craftsmanship.

The lounge bar and restaurant reflect the spirit of Italian hospitality and conviviality, with a dramatic design that runs the length of the carriage.
The dining car seats 40 guests, with two sittings for onboard meals.
All table d’hôte meals are included on board, prepared with seasonal and local ingredients.
